When I looked at the screen and saw James Franco dressed as Marilyn Monroe I thought someone changed the channel to some possible Charlie Sheen's crazy party. I avidly wished that it was that part of "America's got talent" where Anne Hathaway and James Franco see the three red crosses flashing in front of their eyes and we would all move on to the next contestants. Now, US weekly is reporting the two actors didn't get along and grew to "hate each other" during Oscar rehearsals.
"She had to provide all the energy -- he was just phoning it in," says a second insider. ("James seemed in his own little world," during the Oscar telecast, says another source. "Producers were pissed.")In fact, James Franco was so upset over the undeniable chemistry with his co-host he even skipped his own Oscars after Party at The Writer's Room, LA:
"He went immediately back to NYC because he was pissed about how the show went," adds a third source.
After an Oscar nomination for being stuck in a canyon and forced to amputate his lower arm with a knife, James Franco is now back stabbed by his co-host who only sparkled a little more because she got to wear eight different dresses and distract us a little more from the fact she actually suck too.
